Our leathers, primarily vegetable-tanned, are sourced from small tanneries in Tuscany. Unlike conventional methods that rely on chromium salts, vegetable tanning utilizes natural plant fibers such as tree bark to preserve the hides. These leathers are dyed through without a synthetic coating, allowing their organic beauty to shine through. A wax finish enhances their surface, while natural marks and subtle imperfections serve as a testament to their authenticity and craftsmanship.
Materials
Longevity and sustainability guide the design of our soles. Crafted predominantly from rubber—a material prized for its durability, flexibility, and recyclability—our soles are designed to endure. To minimize the use of solvent-based adhesives, most are stitched rather than glued, reinforcing both their strength and environmental integrity.
